  1. My name is Joe Greenfield and I made reservations at the Sheraton, on Old Elkridge Landing Rd, Lithicum, MD to stay from Thursday July 11 thru Sun 14th. I have to say that I was thoroughly disappointed and dissatisfied. My room had an odor when I checked in, that never left, and after he first night I left a tip and requested housekeeping leave my pizza. Well, not only did they throw away my pizza but I realized that my medication and bag of ties/cuff links were also missing. I reported it to the night manager but I was directed to the day manager, Mr. Wayne Tyler. I never experienced this type of incident before so I didn’t know the procedure. Mr. Tyler called me while I was attending my convention so I let him know that I would call him back at intermission, lunch time and he said that he should know something by then. I called and there was no answer but I also never received another call to inform me of any findings. When I returned to the hotel I asked for Mr. Tyler but he had gone for the day and the manager asked if I spoke with him and did he say anything? I told her no and asked what will be done. The night manager then said you will have to speak with Mr. Tyler. I was getting frustrated because not only am I inconvenienced but not getting any answers. So, I was told that I was supposed to report the incident to the police from another officer friend but, I also wasn’t trying to get anyone into trouble. So, I left a message for Mr. Tyler to call me when he gets in. I went to the desk before checking out and leaving for the morning and requested to see Mr. Tyler. I was told that he was on a call and will be out. After some time I asked again and I was told that he was on an emergency call and will be out after he gets off the phone. I believed that I was not only patient but considering the my situation wasn’t being handled tastefully or seriously. Mr. Tyler called me after I had left and wasn’t pleasant or accommodating. I expected him to do as he would any other customer of the Sheraton but he was confrontational and not taking the incident seriously. I am the customer that had items stolen out of my room and he still charged me full price. I requested half of the price taken off and he said that he would send a email to confirm but that email wasn’t ever received and why wasn’t the price reduced from the beginning for the incident. A police report was filed, claim#19-726682 and I still haven’t heard anything. I am truly disappointed with the customer service and lack there of and would hate it if someone else would ever experience an incident like this and have to deal with a manager or managers like that.
